Each coin is released as legal tender of the Cook Islands, has the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and is dated either 2007 or 2008 (depending on when they were released to subscribers).

When complete, this impressive collection includes a booklet covering the historical background to each item in the set (worth the price of admission alone), the presentation case (chest?) and the set of replicas.

No more than 1,500 collections were produced.
